Patch Downloading Fail - SOLVED!

I downloaded the BF2 patches 5 times from different sources with GOOGLE CHROME browser.

I found a single sentence on a random forum after googling for 3 days that claimed that Chrome corrupts dl'd files.

I used firefox and everything was smooth as butter!

Palerider, thanks for the help. Perhaps a note about Chrome should be made in the installer guide?
