More Bang For My Buck...
I recently bought Battlefield Vietnam, and it's fun and all, but the destruction of vehicles is way off the map when it comes to realistic, I want more bang for my buck, as many have suugested already, the one thing I couldn't believe is when you shoot down an aircraft it like literally floats down, did they copy a piece of paper falling down for how a shot down plane should look, it's pitiful. And also, I think my aircannon I built from PVC fires farther than the tanks in the game, so Project Reality, please whatever you can to fix stupid stuff like that to make the game better.
GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR ALLIES

comes with the territory for a BF franchise game from what it looks like a big "problem" with BF2 will be ragdoll i know rag doll is neat but from all the videos iv seen, even ones made as recently as E3, if you shoot a player in the head he does a back flip twice and lands on his head, or something equally unrealistic
as far as BFV the two best mods are EOD basically BFVx10 and POE which is almost like a DC but with better models and more toys POE for my money is the closest to BF2 your gonna get on a pre-BF2 engine

i would think that a plain would be able to glide after being shot all to hell, so long as the wings are still mostly there, and the tail section could be compleetly gone and i would thik that the plan would just fly in a rather unbalanced maner. my point is it wold not nesoceroly just plow strate into the ground in a blaze of glory every time. i have heard storys of a more reasent fiter jet used by the usaf, perhaps the f15 or 16, the damnd thing lost a wing enterly and was still able to fly back to the air field that it came form ( my sorce is the history chanel so i would say that this actuly hapend) so maby ea and dice are not so far off form what could hapen maby not all the time but some of the time

Well although we at Project Reality Forums do not mandate that our members use proper grammer/spelling with their posts (everyone appreciates readable text :wink
... trims post would look so... after a run through Microsoft Word:

My point is it would not necessarily just plow straight into the ground in a blaze of glory every time. I have heard stories of a more recent fighter jet used by the USAF, perhaps the F-15 or F-16, the damned thing lost a wing entirely and was still able to fly back to the air field that it came form (my source is the history channel so I would say that this actually happened) so maybe ea and dice are not so far off form what could happen maybe not all the time but some of the time.

There's that story of the IAF F-15 hitting an A-4, losing a wing and somehow making it back to base. Allegedly McDonnell Douglas didn't initially believe the story untill some of their people went and examined the aircraft. Not sure how true the story is, but I think there was a picture of a F-15 with only one wing. On Boeings site there is a blurb in the F-15K section about an F-15 landing with a partial wing.

Irony is a *****.Psycho_Sam wrote:Trim please have a quick spell check of posts before u sumbit them!
But I digress, I also hate DICE's plane crash physics. I also dislike how things just totally blow up in air. I haven't played BF2, but I imagine the planes simply explode as well. Correct my if I'm wrong.
