No battlerecorder?

I played on
=hog=, hardcore skilled, tact gamer, nwa, there is NO battle recorder. What is going on?

The built in Battle recorder needs extra setting from the server for your to import them via the BF2 GUI.. Not many servers run the correct setting but do still have acces to the BR files. They can be imported to your BF2 file in "My Documents" once they have been downloaded from the game servers/clans web site.

If you look on our website you will see on the home page 2 banners with server info in them. They are inside a box called "demo files". Click whichever server you want the BR file from and then you can download.

*NwA* Clan to get the demo.

Watch this film and from 3.08 tells you how to import them for viewing in BF2.




Maybe move to BF2 R support as this isnt a bug.

As for Tactical Gamer, we run battlerecorder for sure. It can be accesed through barracks/replays within PR. You have to stay til the end of the round though, otherwise the files won't show up there.

These files are only stored on the server for a few days, so make sure you download what you want as soon as possible.

I just played Tact Gamer for a whole round and didn't have it... I checked right after.

Double Post... No Demo folder in BF2

It's not gonna be in your demo folder unless you download it. In the PR menu go to barracks then replays, they all should be there. Click on any of them and select download, once that's finished you can play it.

Also TG started seeding about the same time you made your last post, so if you just played a whole round you might be mixing it up with another server.

How to play the bf2demo file

1. Go to

My Documents/Battlefield 2/Profiles/Default

2. Make a new folder called "demos".

3. Move the ".bf2demo" file to the new "demos" folder


1. Run Project Reality

2. Click on Barracks

3. Click on the file and then click "Play File".
