Weird bug when Tank Commander, anyone else?

Post by sr.bambino »

I often play as a tank commander/driver and whenever my gunner fires the main cannon, I don't hear the sound of the canon firing and I don't see smoke or the fat tracer of the round through my optics.

Sometimes I notice the tank rock, but a similar action occurs when the tank is hit so I just don't know. As well, sometimes when the tank gets hit by another tank shell, I don't hear anything. The tank just rocks, sometimes the screen goes a little red and the tank is tracked, so on so forth.

Anyone else have these problems?

Is this due to a bad connection or a bug in the game or wtf?

It's quite common.

This is common. Happens to me very often.
You may also see the tracer miss the target, even though the gunner hit it.
Don't trust what you see, in other words.

Epic old bug.

Saxoni pretty much said it. As Commander you don't have the same view as the gunner. So sometimes you might see the shells missing its target, while they actually hit it, or you don't hear/see the shot.
