Do that. You will love the singleplayer campaign too. There is a mission where you have to play detective a bit, tracking down war criminals, finding evidence for warcrimes and you will need to be pretty familiar with the interface.sheissder wrote:
BF3 absolutely sucks in my book as a tactical game, and anyone serious about their time spent playing won't be seriously playing it. If you have ADD and only 10 minutes to play its a good choice, but for any extended play time I'll stick with PR. More than likely I will take the money spent on BF3 and pick up arma2 co for some PR play there.

Well, the mod is 5 years old, nearing 6. to still have 400 players a night is a major achievement although the numbers are slowly going down. however this could also be due to the release of newer games (BF3, FIFA12 etc)

The number of players will rise again when battlefield 3 is out for a while and when PR gets a new update. Battlefield 3 is a nice game but it doesn't stand a chance against a good round of PR.

Its only natural since most of the PR players came from Bf2, so i belive most of then bough Bf3.
Of course, even tough the game is amazing (bf3) it will probably be short lived to PR players due to the lack of mod tools. Like bc2 was (played a few months and never played again)

Was exactly the same when BC2 came out.those games are good for a few months for most (not me 1week lol) and there will be no mods for BF3 to keep anyone interested for too long.
Same as every major multiplayer FPS release they will bee back............ they always come back.

Re: Where is everyone? LOL
Is that natural? I came to PR from BF2, but currently have no intention of buying BF3. PR has spoiled me. BF3 is beautiful but it's the same arcade gameplay with very little tactics and teamwork, and where people will just be trying to rack up as many kills as possible. After playing PR, I just can't really get interested in that playstyle anymore.Hfett wrote:Its only natural since most of the PR players came from Bf2, so i belive most of then bough Bf3.

Which is why most of the players will return after playing BF3 for a bit.

I am on the sisu server right now. Some of the best rounds I ever had with playercount between 80 and 100. BF3 must have liberated PR from the noobs. I think those who will come back will be the ones serious about PR.

Everyone's here
Just COD Kiddies playing BF3 are gone
You'll find regulars still on PR.
Even then, it's fine. There's always dips during the weekdays of playercount.
