i think u should lower the waiting-time for guns to shoot straight from like 4 secs? to maybe 1-2 secs.
yea its nice that u cant run and gun etc. but this is extreme.
everything else in pr is awesome, just the aim is very annoying. Ive been playing for like a year now and this is always pissing me off. Having to wait at the exact same position for several moments to be able to hit anything.

Re: The aim doesnt seem realistic
Get used to it, like everyone else.
A small tip:
If you're about to run around a corner, without knowing if there are enemies around it, stop.
Wait just at the corner for 5 seconds, then walk around it slowly. This way, you're deviation is not set to max, and you'll be ready to shoot potential enemies right away!
The same if you know there's an enemy 50+ meters away from you, and you're in a house with windows. Stay in cover, wait for the deviation to reach minimum (5 seconds, I believe), and then walk slowly until you get visual on the enemy. If you do this, you don't have to wait any more than a second before you can take the shot.

Kelkk, the deviation was chosen to be around 5 seconds for 2 reasons if I recall correctly? 3~4 seconds = actual settle time to aim at far away targets. +1~2 seconds to actually slow down gameplay.

First, Welcome to the forums.
Second - There will be no changing the deviation for reasons that are discussed with virtual mountains of threads and posts.

Yep, every month a new thread about the terrible aiming gets created and every month it gets filled with negative replies from the same people. I have no idea why, even a dev once commented that deviation is "not great but necessary"
Best thing to do is switch to PR:ARMA when it's had an update or two.

That's the very point. It is necessary. And we had all sorts of deviation levels in previous releases. More than now, less than now - for the most part, none at all. Right now it's quite low compared to, for instance, 0.7ish. The devs are always tweaking it, but it'll never be perfect for everyone, the game simply wasn't built for realistic weapon aiming.a0jer wrote:I have no idea why, even a dev once commented that deviation is "not great but necessary"

No, this isn't CoD. We should have it at the same. It's very realistic.
