For some bizarre reason this server doesn't show up in server list at first, I've had to refresh once or twice every time.

Same for me unfortunately. I think technicians are working on it though. It's quite hard to seed because of that.

Good game on fallujah yesterday. we found 2 unknowns in 30sec's. i was like "no, no, rudd u dont got it we are on the next unknown".

but ive to add that it takes to long untill the admins are taking care of griefers and stuff.

A suggestion, you should kick non mumblers right at the start like at 20 players because it easier to control,
as when you are at 60 players and no-one is at mumble its a big clusterfuck of warnings...

If you start kicking at the beginning, seeding will take ages and the server wont fill up (happened earlier). Don't underestimate the sturdiness of non-mumblers

sorry but, your happy to let non mumblers seed the server but then they get kicked when the servers populated ?

Agreed Speed but PRTA is all about Mumble use - when (very rarely) it's up to full it's a sod to do but needed. The guy without mumble is ALWAYS:

The blue medic that can't /won't revive
The APC gunner that needs to suppress
Or the pilot you want to drop you just there on that roof

I'll never get older players that CBA to run mumble....

I've even happily noticed immense irritation on NWA recently when a heavy asset squad isn't on mumble SL particualally CAS - I totally agree with this.

Could be worse could be the SM kick of the apache pilot

We don't hide we will kick nonmumblers. We always say about it, give dozens of warning and it's very visible and stated everywhere we can it's mumble only server. If you are against mumble and will never use it, don't join and seed with us I agree. Then you will avoid disappointment of being kicked. On the other hand we offer all admins that can help with mumble issues and explain everything that needs to be done to successfully use Mumble.

That is not my policy speed, I'd ban everyone for just thinking to join the server without Mumble but I'm not an admin, sooo EFF YOU

Very true. Usually there is a "Mumble Help" squad, so the first time I had an issue with Mumble I instantly went to PRTA server for some help.

I left for the night following a load CTD, quite a few others too. Agreed steer clear to avoid a crash emptying the server.

But Kozelsk next? The game was dying and, unfortunately and for some reason I don't understand fully, server lost loads of people really fast.

How about you guys mix 2 AAS followed by 2 INS and so on? Perhaps it can spice things up a bit?

I'm not sure there was an admin on at that time (I am not SURE, maybe there was and I didn't notice), but I don't recall seeing anyone asking which map should be next (to be fair, I didn't even ask, or saw anyone asking to change).

But about the maplist: I think Kozelsk is a great and really fun map when the server is full, but how about a standard maplist that interpolates 2 INS maps with 2 AAS maps?
