Just got in the Apache, getting ready for my first run. Half-way in, my game crashed. I told the second Apache, and they thought "Hey! We can go for it!". They came in from the same angle, and exactly where we crashed, they crashed as well.
It sucked. So bad.

Entering a TOW wanting to shoot a tank which was already smoking... back then in 0.87 (or when taht damn tow bug existed).

When a full Squad wondered into a building I was semi AFK in.when I came out of the room they all had there backs to me standing in a line I knifed 2 the rest where dazed and confused I pulled my AK74 out to spray the rest with some 5.45mm goodness and CTD.

I crashed to desktop with no warning, no PC speaker beep, nothing... just straight to desktop just as I was coming in for a landing in a Chinook on Operation Archer on the castle.

I was coming in hot, taking fire, and doing a very fast touch-and-go drop off to storm the castle, but that never happened, because the full chopper I was flying happened to slam into the side of the castle at full speed... because I crashed to desktop about 50 feet from landing the stupid chopper.

EDIT: Another time I managed to "sneak up" on the unknown cache in Al Basrah as Blufor, and it wasn't ghosting or anything like that, I just got lucky when I crashed my jeep into a small village in the west side of the map, got out and took cover, and the building I took cover in had a cache in it. So I got out my C4 because I had the Combat Engineer kit, placed it, got out of the building, and just as I was about to blow it up, CTD.

Was just on Kashan Desert driving a T-72M (I believe its a T72M) and BAM CTD.

Well I didn't crash but:
I was in a 3 tank squad with mumble. My squadleader tells us to take a path to flank the enemy. We were in the NE hills of Kashan when the sl's tank went onto a part of the hill and crashed. The next tank was like 'wtf' and tried to retrieve the crashed tank. They CTD'd in the same spot. As driver, I told my gunner to stay away while I went to try to get one of the tanks since we got hat'd. As I became near, I got tense. I expected to crash the moment I got in, but didn't. I drove to my gunner and we tried to RTB. We got to the intersection between NV and NB before we got hat'd AGAIN. We were bleeding running to the FOB when 10m away, a MEC scout heli tries to strafe us. He gets me before crashing. My gunner gets medic and revives me from the FOB. Worst dual crash I've had effected me.

Spent 15 minutes with my squad moving tactically from the eastern end of Ramiel to the new cache marker at the far western edge, avoiding all but the most essential of contact with the enemy, smelling the whiff of soon to be burning thermite, and having the game crash to desktop as the move marker comes below the 100m invisibility mark.

That sucked.

Bout 2 weeks ago i was playing Burning sands, i wat tailing 6 man enemy squad with HAT just for waiting for an APC to come and pick them up, and then all the sudden Chinook comes to evac those brits. I had the most perfect spot to destroy that Chinook with my HAT but then when i press mouse 2 to zoom my game ctds.

I was flying the chinook on kokan. I came in for the landing and i was about 20feet from the ground- CTD... The worst thing is that the base was filled with people, an apc and 2 jeeps.
I almost trashed my pc after that...

UUU dont ask, two days ago, waiting on auto deploy for 15 min, came into game, join SQ, jump in BH with sq, after 5 s CTD. I was so depressed i need couple of beer for engine to cool down!

after that have fun finding another squad lol
