I'm assuming you won't have a carrier in this? The amount of water would preclude such carrier involvement.

Interesting bit of terrain, I'd suggest trying to make it more interesting. One method would be to include a smal bush with a high 'distance to others' setting, to create a more natural feel to the overgrowth.

WOOOW, amazing... What a pitty the pic under "I can do a big work on the vegetation" isn't from the BF2 engine...

I think the french are fine, especially if we use the UN vehicles, because then you could have an ivory-cost style situation going on.

don't worry about faction at this stage anyway lads, changing a faction is easy, the stuff before that is the hard part :)

My thoughts exactly. But as Rudd said, not important.

Do it and I will play gladly. The map looks very promising. Just don't forget to add touristic places, port and the like.

i like it :) the only thing is . . . be very carful with the cover that you put in the map too many high peaks give free way for intense fob building and ownage . .. make sure that you cant see certian areas of the map from the highest points or there will be issues :) . . you could make it a 4 K map to fix your border issues most of it will be water anyway so there shouldnt be much issue with frame rates

How are you planning to use jets here? I only see heli carriers and the french don't have Harriers as far as I know.

Yeah im interested in jets too, since i dont think anyone ever used a docked ship for take off / landing with a plane. There would be just too many issues with that, 1) they could not use wind to shorten amount of space needed for landing. A plane would start into harbour, risking collision with building etc.

However, with Silent Eagle airfield ingame, this would not be too far away from it.
