Oh yes, you're right, we need lazers, they even have no "bullet-fly-time" as the 30mm also needs
some time to travel to the target (which can be difficult on a far off moving target)!
No, serious, it's just a 3-5 sec. act of aiming (in the AAVP7 at least) at a static object close to the target, read the lazer-rangefinder's given destination and look at the HUD and move up the turret to set the correct height and booom!
And yes, pls ask a MA (Military advisor?), cause I think it takes about 20 shots or even more to make an Mk19 beginning to smoke and soon overheat...
