Game Slowing down after 30minutes of playing

Post by Tasers »

I've been having a serious issue with PR since yesterday, after 30-45 minutes of playing, it starts to get very very choppy to the point where I'm unable to play. I've cleaned up my computer, ran CCleaner and did a Defrag last night, nothing helped.

Computer Specs:
Q6600 o.c to 3.4 on watercooling
Radeon 5850 (1gb) o.c 800 core 1100 memory
8gb ocz reaper 1066 memory
Asus Maximus 2 Formula
WD 1tb 3gb/s Sata 5400 rpm HDD
All housed in my Antec 1200

All Settings set to medium with 8x AA and View Distance to max, Dynamic shadows and Lightning turned off.
I have really no idea why my game would run flawless for 20 minutes and then get worse and worse from there.

EDIT: Tried the "Memory Patch" from here and now my game does not even start, screen flashes black and it just exits.

Dont use that patch for memory it PB will kick you after 5 mins with it
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... crash.html
this will do it for your entire windows and PB wont kick you (only for 32 bit sytems)

also if your running BF2 in compatibility mode, then turn it off, it causes ram leaks (only in win7)
There is only one unforgivable lie That is the lie that says, This is the end, you are the conqueror, you have achieved it and now all that remains is to build walls higher and shelter behind them. Now, the lie says, the world is safe.? The Great Khan.

40k is deep like that.
