I Love PR

Hey there everyone...

So, like the other times i have posted something, i still can?t play PR because i don?t have a PC good enough... And since i also don?t have money...

But, i love PR...

I watch tons of videos about it, also about PR:ARMA2, wich is great, but if only there was a way of playing PR without having to buy a computer...

What about making a lower graphical version (with standard BF2 graphics) of Project Reality for people like me?

I know its possible, but is it too hard to make?

If it is, i guess too bad for me, but if you can do it, i would love you...
Is that, BF2 without PR, isn?t funny anymore. I like tactical games, i like to think and i like action...

We're sorry, but it's impossible for the Dev team to make another version of the game for low end systems. PR is always being optimized, but due to the sheer size of the maps, the amount of objects and the high view distances and many gameplay elements such as smoke screens, coupled with either an outdated (BF2) or very demanding (ArmA 2) engine, will sadly force people to either upgrade or be unable to play. I myself own a PC that isn't running PR smoothly, and a few maps don't work at all...

There's not enough manpower nor would there be much of a point in making a 'light' version of the game, as lots of features would've been cut - if you look around, you might find an earlier version of PR that would come pretty close to what you'd want, such as 0.5 for BF2, but of course, noone else will still be playing that (and it wouldn't work with the current patch of BF2).

As such, I'm locking this thread. Sorry to hear you can't run PR. You can PM me if you want this thread unlocked for the purpose of giving you suggestions on cheap hardware to buy in order to upgrade your PC to PR standards, of course.
