Great... objectives look more fleshed out and most of this beautiful map can come into play. Good job AD.

Moyen, yes, means "middle" or "center". The names don't mean much, they're based on their position on the map. Centre-Ville is what you see on roadsigns sometimes
. The map is fictional and doesn't represent a real world area, hence the fictional names.
I thought it was fun

lol, I like your names "le nord", "moyen" (where the heck would those be?), and especially the fact that your "centre-ville" consists out the enitre village and surroundings

Re: Project Normandy - General Discussion
AD, you should rename "moyen" "milieu".
Moyen = Average (like in difficulty levels : easy, average, hard = facile, moyen, difficile)
Milieu = Middle
Moyen = Average (like in difficulty levels : easy, average, hard = facile, moyen, difficile)
Milieu = Middle

Re: Project Normandy - General Discussion
Hm, Moyen doesn't make much sense then..
In that case, let's get the names slightly more realistic. We have the following areas:
Centre Ville
This is the village in the north-west part of the map, the German "main base" so to say. The village is surrounded by fields of grass, hedges and there's a lake nearby.
Region de l'Ouest
This is an area in the west part of the map, south of Centre Ville, north of Mortar Battery, west of Moyen. Mostly grass, some houses and I think the only area (next to the coastline) that has a bunch of craters.
Moyen
This is (almost) the center of the map. Has some houses, roads, farmlands, barns. It's west of Le Nord and Control Center, east of Region de l'Ouest.
Le Nord
The north east part of the map. East of Moyen, north of Control Center. Mostly farmlands, some houses and more corn than the other regions.
Feel free to come up with realistic sounding names (or objectives), without tying it to a real life location.
Names that are already taken:
Fox, Easy, Dog, Charlie, East Point, Mortar Battery, Farms, Control Center.

Would a limited, say 6 man, para spawn allow for one squad to play the role of paratroopers and IF a bit of co ordination could be organised give the US a little more of a chance?

Re: Project Normandy - General Discussion
Here what do you mean by "easy of Region de l'Ouest"?Moyen
This is (almost) the center of the map. Has some houses, roads, farmlands, barns. It's west of Le Nord and Control Center, easy of Region de l'Ouest.
You should really rename it "Milieu" instead of "Moyen" lol
The word "Moyen" alone doesn't make really any sense in syntax, it's mainly used in sentences or like I said in difficulty levels.
Exemple :
-So was the test hard?
-Moyen (so/so) (50/50)
Or again "moyen" can be used as "a way to achieve things".
Exemple : Le meilleur moyen = The best way (to do this)
Wait I don't understand, what do you mean my the north easy part of the map? Do you mean that this part is easy for the americans?Le Nord
The north easy part of the map. East of Moyen, north of Control Center. Mostly farmlands, some houses and more corn than the other regions.
Looks like I confused you a bit
PLODDITHANLEY suggestion looks interesting

East, I meant east, with a T. Mistyped it twice by typing easy, lol
. Sorry for the confusion
. Let's just come up with better sounding names or objectives
.

Perhaps something with "Bocage" in its name would be nice for the village? (which doesn't exist ofc)

I think village feels good, because "Bocage" would be the name of one map with many villages and hedgerows

As long as there is sparse yet adequate amount of trees/bushy hedgerows in the area with which a bocage is than that would be a great associated name.

Actually villages/villas aren't necessary for a bocage association. Like I mention above sparse tree work and hedgerows with land expanse would do.

Yeah what I meant is that Bocage would define a quite big area, like the whole map instead of just a little village.

Really need to say it right now, the running animation with the Kar98 could use some love.
