PR crashing at start

Hi guys, i wonder if you could help me in this one.

When i run the pr.exe first i get a black screen then the logo pops out after that usually i get a black screen and i have to restart my pc, i dont know why the hell it makes me crash. I can run the BF2 perfectly, it just happens with pr.

HD Radeon 6790
Intel i7 2600k 3Ghz +

how did you patch your BF2?

first 1.41 and then 1.50?
and remember run as admin.

Well i just installed it by steam im pretty sure it downloads instantly v1.5 does it?

steam...i dont know about that...
but i remember that there was somekind problems in pr if steam overlay was enabled.
so try to disable overlay...
