[0973] ctd on albasrah

Got 2 ctd with mortars hitting the ground just before i ctd.

I was in a single person squad and i was dead for sure 1 time before before i heard the mortar hit.
The other time i was on top of hotel so i might have been blown to bits before i ctd i don't know. but the mortar ctd was first on hotel and then the second one hit me, i think the first time the mortars were close at leastm on hotel. but like i said i did'nt find out if they hit me.

but two times in a row i heard the mortars hit just before i ctd...

system specs... are as follows

videocard: geforce gt520 and drivers version 280.26
cpu athlon x4 3.1 ghz
4gb ram
win7 OS 64 bit with windows xp sp3 and administrator on for compatability

I would try reinstalling PR see if that helps, buddy.

windows xp sp3 compatibility

turn that off, all your problems should disappear, dont use the compatibility mode in win7 for BF2
only run as administrator

The compatibility mode is a not so know problem but annoying one, it will also kill your FPS, what it did to me was forcing the FPS down to 12 after around 90 min. There should be no need to run as administrator either.
