Does PR work on the battlefield 2 off of steam?
I really need to know this before I buy Battlefield 2 off of steam. PR worked off of ARMA 2 when it was on steam but I'm not sure about BF2

Indeed, PR will work for Steam's BF2, no problems there. The only thing you need to keep in mind is to turn off the Steam overlay while playing; I think punkbuster doesn't like it for some reason, and you may lose connection a lot due to it. Just leave it turned off and you should be fine, however; many of my friends bought their BF2 (for PR) via Steam.

I play BF2 PR with steam and I have no problems with PB only when playing BF2v.

I have both a Steam & a Disk version of BF2, I like the Disk one better though
