God please no..That's the most huge sin for a multiplayer realism FPS its not realistic for everybody to hear things differently not to mention the way it could be exploited.

Sounds have always been PR's strong point IMO but never having heard a real gun fire Im sure I'm wrong.Never liked the m16 sounds though.

Yeah here're the latest sounds.

New weaponshots, reworked sounds, 3rd person shots, new reloadsounds, footsteps (placeholder), bullethits, bulletwizzes, explosions, distantshots etc.

I hope the youtube soundquality is better now.

Very nice. I think the incoming rounds need to have more of a supersonic crack.

Sounds are ok, but all sounds are way to dully.
Mostly the bass is to massive. I shot real live G36 and its load like hell but no i call it cool bass. :)
More in the height of the spectrum.

Some of these are excellent, but some are much worse than the current sound in PR.

For example, the RPG and explosions at 02:40 were bloody amazing, but the AK before that wasn't that impressive and I feel the current one in PR is much better.

Try to work more on those sounds that really need improving and not try to change every single sound there is in PR.

SOunds very WW2 ish on Ramiel with the US guys. Not really good IMO. But the incoming rounds hitting the concrete n stuff is better than current. Also being shot sound is quite win.

Honestly, I think you should've kept the supposedly "overpowered" echoes and trail offs. I've shot various weapons at the outdoor shooting range the echo is very sharp and clear. But IMO, now the guns sound a bit too underpowered. I liked the first sound sample you made when the guns had a sharp, clear echo to them.Most of the echoes as of now, no joke, sound like my cap gun. Just a BANG followed by a dull,quiet trail off. I think it should be a bang, followed by a sharp echo, trail off, and sonic crack. Kinda like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zakRfo-t51s. I'm not very good at describing things.I hope this, so to speak, paints a clearer picture in your brain.

I'm sold on the actual sounds of stuff hitting other stuff (be it rockets or bullets) but I'm less sure about the weapon sounds...

In my opinion most of the guns sound little..."toy-ish". However those explosions were great!

Those all sound much beefier and great!

I think, with these implemented into PR, the game would be that much more realistic and bring a lot of people back.

I wonder what if the guns would sound louder while shooting for the firstlook player becouse after shoting full magazine with no ear protection is very loud. It would be much scarier and more fun to shot while some guns are very loud like AK4 it would make you to blink while you shoting in the game :D
