Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but this winter has so far been a bit of a let down snow-wise, so I'd like to play in the snow in PR.

the radar domes that AFsoccer made for Vadso would fit in very well on snow map

Playing WiC is always a huge motivational boost to get mapping again, their maps are lovely.

The maps work on 0.97.
Also, I remember someone made a woodland version of Barentz Invasion that was epic, it just needed to be lightmapped.

I could have sworn that those were not in any other map.
The use of statics on that map is truly phenomenal, a lot of creativity went into it.

No question these maps were great i loved playing on them. It was a nice to change to desert, and sand combat. But the problem is not all players have these maps nor do they want to take the time to go find and download them.

There isn't much difference between v0.95 and v0.973 so they still should work with v0.973, possibly one or two things not quite correct but in all, should still work.

Its the 2010 map pack, released in December, and at that point in time in PR's history, it was PR v0.95 that was running at that point, the info on thous sites is incorrect and it doesn't actually say its for v0.87, just its a related download.

Again, we would bring one or two of these maps up, but the problem is people wont have them, and as a result wont be able to play on the server when the map changes to say, northern lights ( :D such a nice map ). Maybe if the devs could release the map pack again, the same time as the new version is put out, people would download it, and we would have a *** load of new sexy maps to play on.
