A device attached to the system is not working

I seem to have an error upon starting PR. It has worked fine for the past couple months, but when I started it up after I go rid of a Google redirect virus, I was confronted with this error.
I've Googled it, but have not been able to come up with a solution. I've run a full scan with malwarebytes and ran combofix, but to no avail. vBF2 works, and so does special forces expansion, it is simply pr that refuses to work.

Have you cleaned your registry since the removal of the virus? it might be that the virus wrote new registry files and my be causing problems with software which the virus was designed to do.

Whatever the anti-virus removed, I guess it had something to do with PR. Try to re-install the mod.

I'm not quite sure how to clean my registry, so I'm sure it wasn't done.

And I did reinstall PR, and it still continues to give me the error.
