FXAA for PR! (Nvidia only)
Nvidia has recently added the ability to enable FXAA in games by enabling it through the nvidia control panel. In brief, FXAA is a different antialiasing technique that has less of a performance hit than 2xAA but still looks okay.

This is especially nice for PR because there's the bug where if you have antialiasing on, you won't get the black and white effects when you're close to death. If you have FXAA on (and normal AA off) then you will get those effects!
Some cons:
Text gets a little blury (mostly noticeable when typing in the console)
It is a post-processing effect, so the game might appear slightly blurry.
Doesn't look as good as normal AA.
May not work well with all games (looks pretty bad on HoN)
To enable it, you can use nvidia inspector, which allows you to edit profiles in more depth.

Or you can download the drivers 295.18 and use a modified inf

I only brought it up on these forums because it allows for AA AND black and white effects.
Edit: As far as I know, the only way to enable it is through 295.18 drivers. Nvidia inspector method only works for OpenGl games.

Why would you use it when it doesn't look as good as normal AA?

I got AA on I think its on 4xAA and 8xAF and I see those effects. Its the one when you're about to die - blood effect, no icons on map, turning black and white and dies. Is that correct?

Yea that's the effect. Is your graphics card from Nvidia or AMD? The effect doesn't show on most Nvidia cards, but it's not a problem with AMD.
I have a GTX 570 so I don't get the black and white screen, but I think I'd rather sacrifice the effect to max AA than use a less effective type. That's just my intolerance for jagged edges though.

Pretty much.
By the way, 285.62 was released officially now, so make sure you update.

Not getting the black/white effect is a slight advantage though, isn't it?

It's subjective. I get the B/W effect but can navigate in and around statics perfectly, others can't walk around at all.

There is only one unforgivable lie That is the lie that says, This is the end, you are the conqueror, you have achieved it and now all that remains is to build walls higher and shelter behind them. Now, the lie says, the world is safe.? The Great Khan.

Besides, did you really come here to play PR and cheat, or did you come looking for a great experience?
