AA Vehicles on Kashan Desert

Hi,

I'm Playing PR Often in Coop and i had to assess, that the AA-Vehicles are too much Overpowered.

Every time i Flyed the Jet, an AA-Vehicle got a Lock on me. I mean thats Ok, but when you got locked, you will die, cause its too Overpowered.

Can you make the AA less effective in Coop or Singleplayer ?

Hello,

Welcome to the forums. I believe your post is feedback regarding AA Vehicles in coop mode so I have moved the thread to that place. In the future, please be aware of what forum you are posting in and what other options are.

@vista - I don't think this is actually a suggestion so I'm not locking it.

The bots spam like crazy and they hit their target way easier then their player counterparts. You learn to deal with them in a fashion that cannot be applied to the deployment game-mode, which is probably not a good thing.

I've said this before, but AA vehicles are the only thing that bots are better in than humans.

It's not because they are overpowered (it's the same vehicle humans use after all), it's because bots expend the missiles at all cost.
They don't wait for a 'better' shot. They don't try and lure you in.
The split second that 'lock on' alarm sounds, they launch. And launch. And launch. And launch again.
And they let the missiles do the work.
Same missiles that you and I fire, but we are too distracted by flares, sounds and afraid of wasting ammo.

In SP mode, this can admittedly suck.
You either have to wait for your bot buddies to take out the AA or learn to not die.
In COOP mode, blame your teammates for not helping, just like you would in multiplayer.

I lol'd but yeah...Bots with AA are a big annoyance while trying to learn to fly and shoot :)

How about making a flight test mode where you can play on a server w/out bots and w/ Multiplayer settings? Today I was trying to practice rocket runs on Kashan but I just got shot down : /

Just start local server and use console commands to spawn jets.

You can mod the AA vehicles to have a laser-lock on them. Done that once, good fun.

you need to go into every vehicle .tweak file that you what to have a lock signal for and paste these lines in with the rest of the 'ObjectTemplate.addTemplate's

ObjectTemplate.addTemplate LaserTarget_vehicle
ObjectTemplate.setPosition 0/0/0

You need to have certain amouth of posts in order to write in suggestions.

There is tread made by dev somewhere that haves these commands. Its somewhere in community modding go find it lol.

Hint: Search for RCON commands
Fun Fact: RCON commands don't work in Co-op
