Could do with a bit of help please...

hello there, i am completely new to pc gaming and i am not the best at understanding computer terms. So i was just wondering if anybody could point me towards a complete installation tutorial for BF PR, Ive downloaded BF2 from steam and downloaded the patches and i am up to date but i haven't got a clue how to install them any help would be grateful...

Here, follow this short tut and you will be fine. Make sure you install Punkbuster - PR will do this for you, and PR mumble 1.0.

Make sure that you check Run as administrator when installing and running all of those or it will fail. Also run standard BF2 at least once before you run PR to create user folders and optimize shaders. If you dont do this you will have a lot of problems.

EDIT: I forgot one thing. Since you have Steam copy of BF2 you may get a problem with running any mod, not just PR. Be sure to check this thread first, before asking any questions.

Do you mean in-game? Click on "Deployment", and then on "Join Internet". If no servers are showing up, click on "Update List", which should help.

You can also check servers without joining PR here.

Your answer is in my post above just read it carefully and check all the links. Problem is STEAM version of BF2. Check link in my post EDIT.
