i just hope that devs decide to put blue names on friendlys to help noobs like me

hmm...I got an Acer Aspire laptop with 4GB RAM, Intel Core i5 processor and an ATI Mobility Radeon with 1GB dedicated ram and i have to play BF2 PR with all low to medium settings and it still struggles on most city mapsOskar wrote:It's an Acer Aspire laptop with 4GB RAM, Intel Core i3 processor and an ATI Mobility Radeon 512MB graphics card. PR:BF2 runs super smooth on high settings.
I have these specs in my desktop and Arma II runs fantastic on high setting, CPU OC'd to 3.8.job86 wrote:hmm...I got an Acer Aspire laptop with 4GB RAM, Intel Core i5 processor and an ATI Mobility Radeon with 1GB dedicated ram and i have to play BF2 PR with all low to medium settings and it still struggles on most city maps![]()
My wordsBuren06 wrote:I bought ARMA II and don't regret it. However, it's a long way off from being playable for me. The auto-radio commands were irritating, I found the graphical effects to be a huge headache (literally), and the simplest of tasks were incredibly complex. Not that I'm not willing to put in the time to learn, but even menial accomplishments were needlessly complicated. Like I said - I didn't expect to know how to play it, but the general experience seems far too un-intuitive for me to enjoy at this time.
Still - glad I bought it, I'm sure I will come back to it when PR: ARMA is further developed. The potential is obvious.
You will love CAS power in Arma2. Get it naosaXoni wrote:Interesting. I might actually check this out now.
Exactly the same for someone who comes from vanilla BF2 and start playing PR:BF2 without reading the manual, it will be complicated for him and even more if he havent played vanilla BF2. Usually a more complicated MP game means you have more possibilities, if someone wants to play easy games then he should try COD or Battlefield 3.MaSSive wrote:Ive tried PR:ARMA2 and tbh its nothing much. It like you take something complicated and make it even more complicated. Without reading manual you wont get anywhere soon, and I haven't been reading any manuals for OA and I figured out how things work.
Well there is nothing you dont know now, after X time playing PR:BF2, but im sure the first time you tried to fly a heli you rolled over, the first time you played you created a squad before 1:30, the first time you got into a mortar you didnt know how to use it or the first time you got into an attack heli as gunner you didnt know how to zoom, use thermals or use properly the different missiles modes, and you though it was something complicated.MaSSive wrote:Hmm...I must say I never did read the PR:BF2 manual and there is no thing in it that I do not know of. Comparing BF2 with Arma2 is a bit silly dont you think?
