I had similar message but it was related to mission.pbo or something like that and it said same thing - not signed by accepted key by this server. I never resolved it, I just went to other server to play. Well it was for OA in my case not PR. It might be related to some addons? Did you install any, ever? Try other servers, if you cant enter most of them then its an issue and probably better to post in ARMA2 section of forums.

Edit: Just checked my game directory for files you had error about and I dont seem to have any of those. I have Arma2 + OA + PR installed with no addons at all, so you maybe tried to join server thats running some addon that is required or you have it installed but wrong version?

Yeah I was able to join like 2 non-PR servers. But other than that its fail. This is just confusing as hell, so many hotfixes for hotifxes and there is beta patches for beta patches FFS already. No wonder so few people play PRA2 mod :x

Anyways, just manually removed those addons and now the servers have yellow circles with "?" in it instead of red and it doesnt give that message anymore but still kicks me out into server browser. I'll try to look for fix in Arma 2 sections. Thanks for help anyways.

But Id advise you to use programs uninstaller and try to remove it from Control Panel - Programs and Features. Deleting Files manually should be last option.

Yeah, you dont really need this latest beta hotfix. Its only if you want to have a test run and see what features got fixed in it. Actually 87646 is recommended beta fix read why. Like someone said now I can actually shoot people! :D

Start over, i see you have a collection of addons inside your main Arma II directory, as im seeing Clafgan in the pic. VERY BAD

Use @mod folders for your desktop short cuts or a Arma Launcher - ArmA II Launcher

Coop and PR servers must have the keys to suit the client addons joining, no Key=no join
And obviously PR servers should be locking out everthing for ultimate stability.

I finally fixed it. I removed those addon files manually and started game from "Project Reality Arma 2 v0.1" and it connected fine. The warping is actually gone and performance is much better now. Thanks for the help massive.

Yawn.. now maybe if some1 would create a small enough (& good looking) map to have decent firefights w/o PRT lvl coordination and pre planning i'd consider giving it a second try..

Murphy wrote:I recently got A:CO and tried PR:A2, having not dealt with previous version I noticed none of the notorious warping issues I have read/heard about. The issue is there is only 20-40 players on one server at any given time, makes for quite a small and rather uneventful game all things considered.

I believe in time, with content coming our way at some point, interest in PR will pick up.

You sure you have played PR:A2 lately ? Every time i am on there are between 60-80 players. Sure it is only at specific times, usually at the time the Europeans starts playing so around 6pm and 12am GMT.

learning curve controls is huge but i can get over it.
i just hope that devs decide to put blue names on friendly to help noobs like me :-)
Just use your binoculars/range finder or check the map before firing at anything.
MaSSive wrote: Ive tried PR:ARMA2 and tbh its nothing much. It like you take something complicated and make it even more complicated. Without reading manual you wont get anywhere soon, and I haven't been reading any manuals for OA and I figured out how things work. Well Im still learning. ALso PR needs more features. This now looks very empty and is more like minimod. Still comparing to BF2 this look and feel rocks.
I have played PR:A2 for 5 days now and i am pretty sure i know about 95% of what there is to know to be able to play it correctly. I am not saying it doesn't have a higher learning curve than the "normal"games, but it isn't rocket science. You don't even have to read the manual in .pdf that is given with the download. Just use the small manual you can find under help in map mode, although it is better if you do read the real manual. Also if you cant find a button to do something just go to option and look at controls. With a bit of effort you will know how to play pretty quickly and it will be well worth it.

95%? Wow at that rate you might master rocket science :D

Seriously, if you know so much please do tell me, as an engineer, which truck would you use for FARP, and how would you load statics into it. How many FARPs you can deploy on one map?

Thats general ARMA2 question not PR specific. I really want to know that and I cant find out how to. A-a no manuals...

Never played ARMA2 so i cant tell you. But i am sure that if i had i would managed to find out.

Edit: after googling for a minute. http://www.arma2.sk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=69 Apparently you need a repair truck.

Hm, seems Ive been wrong all the time. PR:ARMA2 is even easier to learn then ARMA2 itself. Strange how it seemed to me that its even more difficult than base game. I see a lot of things removed from original, and few added. There is no engineer class in PR? There are however vehicles that anyone can use to service their vehicles. And points like in ARMA2 where you can repair them.
Ive been joking with you, I know how to do it and Ive learnt that in these few days I'm playing ARMA2. And you will not find that in any manual - lots of undocumented ones, side jobs.

Actually all you need now is the 1.60 patch. One patch. You can install the 622 hotfix if you want to, but you need a special pr.exe provided in the forums then. I didnt and gameplay was smooth.

If your arma is shot uninstall and check keep player profiles and savegames and reinstall it. Thats what I did.

No he does not need any special .exe files. Its only if you want to play with beta patch enabled, but I see that .exe not working already. There are already two patches after last beta, and Battleye is kicking for unrecognized version of the game if you play on 622 hotfix. It did it to me, and it stopped when I installed latest hotfix.
Version of patch he needs will depend on his installed version of the game. If its a digital edition most likely it will come patched, if not to latest, then it will be patched to at least 2-3 version back. Mine came patched with 1.52 and I got it on gamersgate.
If you go trough post you will see also that he fixed it. ACE and some old mods were problem.

Of course I'm sure I have played PR:A2 lately, the only server with any activity is TG and I have yet to see more then 40 people on it. Being North American might have something to do with it.
