[Solved] Game Crashes on 2 pc's

I have the battlefield 2 (purchased on steam) with the pr mod installed, version 0.973 (last official one i think). I also have project normandy and the latest map pack.

I have all this installed on 2 different pc's, both running windows 7 x64, both exceed the minimum requirements, I actually play it on max settings.

The problem: there are no servers on deployment and on coop (I refreshed it several times, still didn't appear). When I try to join by IP the game crashes and reopens saying that the executable should be pr.exe, not bf2.exe.

Since it started happening on both computers at the same, I suppose that steam changed messed something up with the autentication or the game key (or some other thing, i don't really understand what Im talking about...) due to the release of battlefield 3 two months ago. But it's only for pr, battlefield 2 is working just fine.

To fix this i tried some common sense things, like reinstalling bf2 and pr, no result.

And this is my problem. Happened to anyone else? Can someone help here?
