Keys not working?

Post by DeltaFart »

Hello all I've been having an issue with my Saitek Cyborg Eclipse keyboard. The C button works once in awhile and the 3 key well that just never works ever anymore, so I had to put Batman Arkham City on hold for the time being seeing as Im in the pit with Solomon Grundy >_> Is there any way to fix it or should I just put a fork in it? It is several years old but I wouldn't have imagined those two keys would have just died suddenly without real warning, granted 3 used to be the primary weapon slot in many games, and C was crouch >_< so I guess it makes sense. Any help would be appreciated

I had the same problem with the bigger brother (Saitek Cyborg V.7 keyboard???) Found out the rubber inlay under the keys had become unaligned. Just take it apart, and move that rubbery bit across. Can't remember how I took it apart, but there is a way :P and its not hard, nor will it void your waranty if you still have it :) .

First thing is to take up those two keys, and another at random, and check how aligned they all are.

I just checked, popped the keys off using my knife, and they dont seem that far off from what the random key (z) looked like
Infact I tried poking something round into the hole to push the little black dot at the bottom and got no response from that
