I would like to create a quick version of PR to be used for some squad tactics training I_R_L.
I want to use a Blufor and Opfor team only, with 4-5 modified maps already in PR that are completely neutral locations (no fallujah/basrah). I can handle a lot of the soldier retextures and map modifications so long as someone will help out with coding, testing and most importantly, making some installers that I can put on disks. Also need to help make it work for LAN games
my xfire is applesofdeath

Arma doesnt have such a close and simple squad setupdtacs wrote:PR can't be a separate program, so you'd need BF2 installed already.
But why exactly do you want PR, what about ARMA and it's various training mods?

Re: [help] Project Reality Squad Training
PR:ArmA2 does take care of the problem a bit. You can create squads and divide those into fireteams. As you said it's for IRL training and I think Arma2 will give you the most versatile tool by default to create missions and scenarios.Echo331 wrote:Arma doesnt have such a close and simple squad setup
But the decision is yours, modding PR and BF2 seems a hole lot more difficult and time consuming than just making a few missions for ArmA2 or PR:ArmA2.
