The new bullet impacts are really nice, more dirt and smoke, at least the 50 cal should have that dust flying.
Most guns have a nice sound, but the shotgun sounded pretty bad as 3rd person, really low quality.
And the muzzle flash... Maybe for night maps...

Yeah, ive been fiddling around with both bulletimpacts and muzzleflashes, just to test. Was fun to show i think. I think muzzleflashes could be seen in daylight, but not that visible as shown. It's a great feeling shooting and some flashes pops out.
The bulletimpacts are rlly nice to play around with. I think, after watching videos and also beeing a witness irl I think im beeing close to what it should look like.
Made very random for realism, large and small effects, fast and slow.
Would be nice to work for original mod, but dont think theyre interested into changes. :/

Well when I installed the new version the bullet impacts were the same?

I follow ur read me file but it gives an error for the .RAR file.
Any idea how i can fix this?

ow btw anders you should make the echo sound after a shot a little shorter
in my ears they go on to long and at the end it just disapears to fast so if you end it a little shorter and let the sound go away slowly it will be fine i think

PR crashes after each map.... can u fix this?

I'm not super pleased with the levels on the A-10's cannon. That guy should be much louder.

A10 30 mm cannon GAU 8A - YouTube

Notice all the microphone distortion even after the levels are cut.

Beyond that, I don't have too many other comments (Listened to video, haven't had chance to run the soundmod myself). I would encourage a slight level boost on third person sounds.

Strange as hell as I often play with this on NWA servers...

But do you mean you can't extract the files??? Take one RAR file at a time and test.

Ok, I'll look into that... See how far I can go with the volume of those sounds. Suppose Im gonna make it a little more "squeeky. :) "

I love them. They look awesome! You can mess around with them if you want and make them better. BTW, I am a complete single player fan, so I don't mind if they don't work online.

Well, you can always try to get into PR main build, so that ALL who play PR will see and apreciate your work.

Haha, thx, but the admins would probably close it down. :) But I can try though.

Did it. Lasted for 10 min. They tossed in my face that I was "spamming" general forums. And that I wanted attention. What is it with people with too much power in their hands?
And they arent rlly helping modders like me anyway. If I put passion into something what would I gain with more attention. Just wanted to let others who doesnt view the modding sections what ive accomplished... :/

So they havent ever considering trying to allow soundmod on public servers.
Why would i continue now?!

Tired of these proud people who plays gods and dont see the meaning of things when people are trying to make something Thats good even better.

My work ends here. Thx for this time folks. It's been fun.

I thought this soundmod might interest some of ya who doesn't care to check the modding section. :)

Wouldn't hurt to show you my work, does work on many servers, some you might get kicked from. But worth checking if you want a new atmosphere in BF2 :P R...
