I have had this before and only a reformat seemed to fix for a while. But again, even on a new HD I have the same problem.
I simply cannot play in servers with about 55+ players. I load in and Just get 'there is a problem with your connection' and get booted back the menu. This does not happen when joining a server with UNDER ~55 players. I can also join a empty server and it will be fine even when it fills to 64.
I have done the usual reinstall everything (even os) so it MUST be a network problem I think. I have a Belkin (something) router. Any thoughts on what to look for with this problem?

Does this affect specific servers only? Is it exactly 55 players?
Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.
The only winning move is not to play. Insurgency, that is.

Some users reported problems with NWA and TG servers. Its being worked on right now, but the reason is still unknown. They do have problems joining these servers at all times. Getting same error as soon as coming to spawn screen.
Do you have problems with specific servers or all of them?

Disabling voip with a connection issue... sounds like you might have a Belkin router in your home network
If not, disregard ^_^

No worries. One of the first points of call for router/connection issues (past obvious ISP faults) has been Belkin routers and/or onboard firewalls for quite a while.'[R-COM wrote:LITOralis.nMd;1723097']thanks for the good memory and the links Psyrus,

Another hint to the newer IT support staff would be if someone complains of random BSODs mostly just in PR, establish if they have a Realtek based motherboard sound driver/device, as it has been known to cause big issues with PR - About 7 people and counting so far have had this issue resolved through either finding a 'new' (dunno which one) driver or moving to a different sound device.

Tim have you tried turning off firewall in your router or forwarding ports on it?
