[Solved][0973] No voip sounds

Hello everyone.
I'm not sure where to post so i'll leave it here, maybe this is actually bug with new 0973 patch.
After i installed it i can't hear any voip sounds while playing pr. It means i can hear any "usual" sounds, like shooting, commo-rose sounds etc.
But if someone tells me something by voip i only can see voip icon (it appears, when you press B button), but i cant hear any speech.
In sound options all values are 100%.
Did anyone have such problems ?
PS. If it matters:
I'm on win7 Basic (played before with previous patch and didnt have such troubles).
Laptop - asusA52J, sound card - Conexant Smart audio HD.

I had this problem too. Just from time to time. I don't know why. But mostly it works. I really can't give u a tip. Does it work in the normal BF 2?

For me with Logitech G35n i have this problem when enabling the Surround Sound.

Have you got this kind of technology ? (7.1 setup, Dolby Surround...)

No, disabling surround sound doesnt helps.
And now i have same issue in original bf2. Can anybody give me more advices ?

Solved.
The thing was about disabling some sound util (it was preinstalled on my laptop and resides in tray).

Also, VOIP comes through the centre speaker channel in BF2.

If you have stereo speakers and no centre speaker you will not hear speech over VOIP unless your PC is set up to use stereo.

(I.e. accidentally leaving 5.1 selected will play stereo sources like music just fine, but you won't realise you're missing the other channels in applications that use more than stereo - like bf2).
