Guided training lessons?

Hi everyone!

I noticed, that there is no longer a thread where training for new players is organized. A year and some months ago there was one organized by wicca, if I remember correctly (didn't bother to dig it up). I signed in there, but than got private problems, and so was unable to participate. However after a troubling year, once again I found time to waste and I would still very much like to playPR:BF!

Has anyone too much love and is willing to give some away? ;)
I mostly just need a Squad that knows that I'm new and won't kick me after the first irregularity. Maybe gives some hints on the finer points of PR teamwork too. I would also be comfortable with people who are not native english speakers, so I am less ashamed by my bad accent. :grin:

I am ready to learn and anxious to start. One limitation though: I work, so usually I'm only available from 2000 PM (UTC/GMT +1) onwards...

P.S: I also do signatures if someone needs one - just ask.

Sorry about the trouble, but please change your signature, Dunkelseele. We do not mean to offend you and we appreciate that you wish to show your support this way, but the PR dog tag image may only be used by team members (testers and R-tags).

Under section 3, point 10 of the forum rules:
Use, copying or editing of the Project Reality logo image in any format is expressly forbidden unless written (either paper or electronic means) consent is obtained by the copyright holders prior to use.
Use of the logo is unfortunately not allowed without consent from the team.

Do you really need that? No disrespect but that sounds like a kinder garden to me. Get to know with PR trough manual first, play a few SP games, go to coop, and learn how stuff works, then hop into deployment and jump into infantry squad that is always on front line. The rest goes easy.

Id say join the PRT but its not operational for now, but will be I hope. There are some private tournaments, but PRT is one. That is the only place where I would go for guided training.

Sorry, I didn't intend to pretend that I am a dev or anything. I was just looking at your sigs and wanted something similary cool...

I made myself another one, is this ok? It features a german dog tag now, without any mentioning of the mod itself. If it is still too close to the devs signatures, I will try to change it furthermore.

Ye indeed it was. I was just pointing that quality training was only possible in highly organized and controlled environment, such as PRT was. Might be its posible in private sessions but I'm not aware of such places.

Your sig is perfectly fine. Make sure you follow rules about its size which is explained in forum rules section 3.

Ye that's fine, although it looks like your using the chain bits from the PR tags hehe, no probs with that thou :p

Nope, completly made from scratch, although heavily influenced by the original tag of course... small detail: the shadows of the individual chain-segments is correct in my sig, in the official tag it isn't 8)
