AA used against infantry?

Jp they used all kind of AA flak guns against Infantry and light armour, Couse AA flak gun have the same type of ammunition: High Explosive or HE like other anti-infantry cannons like in LAV or Apache. Its very very efective when u have to cover large area. And its even better with new proximitly impact bullets wich explode above your head even if u hidding in the trences. But its also another story for AA with heats-rockett like Strela,... I dont know for shure if they implanted to the new series of strela , but i know they were testing system where u can switch heat sensor on and off to be used against infantry.

Something I thought was pretty strange a while ago, i fired a stinger and hurt myself when it hit tree in front of me. So I would agree that the blast radius is a bit too big. Of course reducing it would hurt the effectiveness against aircraft, so it's a bit of a catch 22.

Could just have an arming delay on it like the RPG and UGL's?

I think the devs already put a lot of deviation on it so that it's not effective against nearby Inf. Dunno if it worked!
