50. cal Humvee

Post by imjustthatguy »

To be honest, the 50. cal humvee is great, but i think adding one more seat would make it a perfect transportation role. squads can go up to 6 players, humvee can only carry 5. Usually this ends up with 1 squad taking 2 humvees, (which btw wastes 4 extra spots) or they end up taking a humvee and a lodgie truck, which they don't even use. Which results in less fobs, and less vehicle assets. Even though it'll be a tight fit and another ticket loss if it gets blown up, i think it would be a great role as sometimes, i am that one person who never gets a ride cause the seats are full :( . maybe make the trunk a bit wider and add a seat there where he kneels or something? thanks.
regards, that guy~

It and similar vehicles did have 6 seats in previous releases but they were reduced to 5 because that is the maximum number of positions in the vehicle in real-life.

If you plan on using a humvee than have a 5 man squad, the humvee more than makes up for the player loss with its speed and ammo.

Not a good idea thing as it devalues unarmed transport.

Yeah its a bit of a *****, same goes with the landrover (3 slots) , taliban can cram into that techy np at all. you could have blokes sitting on the side of the vehicles?.

Sounds reasonable, its just to me gameplay wise it seems kinda awkward when you have 1 person left behind. Or sometimes even the squad would have 4 people walk and 2 people drive and gun. But thats usually a horrible idea because you could easily get rpg'ed/sniped/gunned/ as the humvee shouldn't be driving so slow.

Ina way i feel that the humvee should squish in 1 more seat, cause sometimes you need that extra man, you never know :P

You could drop one slot, bring it down to four :P

OR, make more unarmed hummer vans available? Or Bikes, do the U.S. forces use bikes?

add more seats to the WMIKs too, I think 8 seats would be best.

I'd also suggest putting this up in the Suggestions section. ;)
