[0973] RKG death throw bug

Something ive noticed a while ago but never brought my self to search if it has been reported before

"for future reference i searched the pr Bf2 bugs forum for anything rkg and nothing popped up so i figured it hasn't been published"

while throwing an RKG fast acting grenade, If Shot and killed or if while throwing the grenade you so happen to pick up another kit it cancels the throw and no explosion occurs.

Yes yes no big deal, but its what happens when you pick back up the kit either the same kit you dropped while throwing OR if you have been killed and you or another player picks up your dead kit.

The RKG fast acting grande will automatically be propelled forward as if you just threw the grenade. but its instantaneous to the time you picked up the dead kit. all resulting in an explosion in front of your player. Not 100% sure if the explosion effect causes any damage but in case it does ... it could be potentially hazardous to friendlies in your general vicinity.

Hilarious. I never knew. I presume this only affects a 'dead dead' player and not a wounded one?

When a player is shot dead or wounded while in the course of throwing any object (so normal grenades as well), said object will get stuck in the kit as 'being thrown'. This means that once any other player picking up the kit, or when the player himself gets revived, selects said object it will automatically be thrown instantly.

That said, it has been a vBF2 bug since forever and I doubt it's within the PR Devs' grasp to fix it.
Will be either hardcoded or an engine limitation.

It is hardcoded, an issue left over from the BF2 engine.
