Post Here for questions. And Give answers!
And For me, I am a newbie yes. And I was wondering if I could get Battlefield 2 for free?
I learned about PR after watching Battlefield 2 videos, and was wondering if somehow I could download it and get this PR mod. Yes I must sound stupid but I have never played these games, only BF3 with a friend. Thank you!
Hey! Welcome to join us!
You wanna get a Battlefield2 for free? That's nearly no possible, Almost all the awesome servers need key verification.
Go and buy one on steam or EADM(origin?)
You can enjoy PR in TG or CIA server in The US.
PR is hard for newbie, read mannual with your mind, ask your sq members if you have question.
Most of all, obey orders from your CO or sq Leader
Buy an original copy. Decent servers would be: For the best one it's PRTA SISU 128 player, you might find it a bit hard to play as you're from the states. TG and NWA are pretty decent as well. Heard alot good about CIA even though haven't played there myself. Pelitutka is also good, but it's not populated often.
:s yeah just go buy a copy off ebay for cheap cheap cheap .... also ... you might get some flak from using that user name people may think your trying to make a statement. just a heads up
Buy a copy, a hard copy is better than digital but either will work.
Wait until you are familiar with the game until you play on the SISU 128-player server. TG, NWA, any PRTA server are good servers for you to experience solid teamwork.

since there are more people in your squad you will have more chances of getting a helpful player
also 128 players is awesomesauce
I beg to differ. The 128-server can be extremely cluttered, and for a new PR-player, it's not where you should start. Half of your team are without tags, people are talking everywhere and you have a squad leader plus 10 other guys you're associated with.

What Sax said, on the 128 everyone is quite busy doing their role and can't really spare the time to help out new players. I recommend you start off with a good 64 server.
I started out playing on the =HOG= Muttrah (sp?) server, since it has the lowest ping for me and is almost always full in US timezones. If you just communicate with the people on the server, you can get lots of helpful tips and hints from them. But make sure to check the manual first for answers, because people get annoyed when you're constantly asking about things you should've read about already.

Unless it's a really obvious question, it's common politeness to give every new player a hand.

Of course. But when it comes to relatively complex games like PR, it's also common courtesy for new players to familiarize themselves with rules/mechanics/etc before playing on a multiplayer server.
