Mp5?
Its a great weapon, i see lots of people in kashan & Muttrah give up there rifleman kits for crewmans just for the mp5. maybe replace a kit for it? Like the MEC combat engineer, or alternate Officer? After all it is still the G3 series, the g3 with a reflex is a bit choppy, and i understand in previous threads that conventional armies like standard weapons. But these kits are limited. If anything maybe fit this gun somewhere for the German Army? There the creators practically, maybe alternate for some certain kit like Rifleman AA? haha

Well people are giving up rifleman issued kits for crewman, which isn't really realistic seeing a person that should be operating an armor vehicle running around with a mp5 killing people...

well mp5 is not an issued gun it has small stopping power and limited rangeimjustthatguy wrote:Well people are giving up rifleman issued kits for crewman, which isn't really realistic seeing a person that should be operating an armor vehicle running around with a mp5 killing people...

Re: Mp5?
yea i agree but just like the aks74u, its really effective at cqb, it would be cool if anything, an alternate kit could possess this beast![R-COM]rushn wrote:well mp5 is not an issued gun it has small stopping power and limited range

high rate of fire and less recoil in full auto is what makes it lethal in cqb. I use it mostly in skirmish battles.[R-COM]rushn wrote:well mp5 is not an issued gun it has small stopping power and limited range

And really this is not going to take us anywhere. Don't think you will accomplish anything since devs will probably not going to do it. MP5 is smg and is ideal for crewmans. As a plus this sound like a suggestion and is in wrong place and is most likely been proposed already.

..... EPIC FACE PALM !
Sorry but im pretty sure this will get locked indefinitely due to uselessness and reopening already discussed topics.
to break down the history of this thread and topic:
1 this is not a suggestion area and if it was it wouldn't make it to the topic floor for discussion
2 Mp5's have been discussed over and over again along with other SMG variant kits and it has come to the conclusion that it is unrealistic.
3 there is a magical thing that you should used next time called the SEARCH TOOL ^_^
For the sake of discussion. the MP5 Would in fact be a good weapon for lets say the MEC AA kit and HAT kit to keep close range operations for defense primarily to an effective status.

sry, couldn't resist:
actually there is no need for this for conventional army rifleman kits...
this. make it available via alt. kitFor the sake of discussion. the MP5 Would in fact be a good weapon for lets say the MEC AA kit and HAT kit to keep close range operations for defense primarily to an effective status.

Re: Mp5?
You would get more of a reaction from an infantry soldier wearing body armour if you pissed on him rather than shoot him with a few 9mm PARA (the few versions allowed in armed conflict). A Western Infantry solder would do more damage to you with his hands than the bruised rib and serious adrenilin rush you just gave him if you shot him with a 9mm.
