Mumble Squad Chat problem
Seem to be having some problem with the mumble squad chat, everyone can hear me local, but it seems no one can hear me in the squad chat. Tried uninstalling it, but it still does the same thing. I've made sure I'm hitting the right button and everything. I haven't played PR in months, so I returned to it, and discovered this problem. The only thing that's changed since I played last time was that I got a new headset, and mouse. Though I don't think something like that would mess it up.

Re: Mumble Squad Chat problem
Check if your in proper channel on mumble server. If you're in servers root ( game server where you play on ) everyone can hear you on local, but since you're not in squad channel, squad chatter wont work.
If that's not the case check shortcuts in mumble settings. If most of them are missing you will need to reinstall and delete mumble configs in C:\Users\*you*\AppData\Roaming\Mumble

Sorry for the offtopic (kind of), but I didn't want to create a new thread for this.
What actually is the key for using the squad chat? Is it the "PR Comms"?

Re: Mumble Squad Chat problem
Oh, I had completely missed that one. So that part is clear now. The thing is, I now have the same problem as the OP. I tried to delete the mumble configs via command prompt, but it didn't open the folder, just gave me this error (yes I typed "%appdata%" correctly, without the quotes):'[R-COM wrote:MaSSive;1730588']I suggest you read this https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ricks.html
"'C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file"
I tried it with admin account as well, but it gave me the same error. Any other way to delete them if command prompt doesn't work properly?

There is no need to do anything in the registry,
just as mentioned above, you need to delete the PRMumble directory in "'C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming' , and uninstall PRMumble through Control Panel, reboot, and then reinstall.

Re: Mumble Squad Chat problem
Deleting the Mumble folder from Roaming and reinstalling Mumble didn't help. But I FINALLY figured out what was wrong. When starting up mumble, instead of choosing the admin account from UAC, I decided to choose the non-admin account that I used then and what I always use. I had nothing to lose right? For my surprise, all the shortcuts were there in settings. When I ran it as an admin, there always was just the one shortcut in settings.[R-COM]LITOralis.nMd wrote:There is no need to do anything in the registry,

I tried it in-game, and obviously it didn't auto-connect to the correct channel because I wasn't running it as an admin.
So I uninstalled mumble, rebooted, and LOGGED IN with my admin account. Installed mumble with my admin account, and then logged in with my non-admin account. I set mumble to run as an adminstrator. Started mumble, chose admin account from UAC and ALL the shortcuts finally appeared in settings. Tested ingame, channel auto-connect works perfectly, and squad chat FINALLY works!
So looks like installing mumble via UAC from a non-admin account messes it up, at least for me it did.
