[SOLVED] Splash screen then CTD

Hey there, I recently tried getting back into PR and gave my computer a clean re-install of BF2\PR. And the problem is that whenever I try to actually launch the game, it has the PR splash screen pop up, then the screen goes black for a bit before I return to the desktop without any processes occurring.

I don't feel like I installed it wrong, since I used origin to download the BF2 Complete collection, and then immediately afterwards used Desura to install the entire PR mod.

Also, I've tried running both BF2 and PR as administrators and the situation persists.

firstoff this problem has happened before try searching for it next time I understand you are new but its pretty tiring answering the same problems over and over again

but first try deleting the BF2 folder in users folder then go to my documents

then launch BF2 first and then try PR
