Am I able to run PR?

Post by Freakus99 »

Hello, I was wondering if I would be able to run PR with about 20-30 FPS? I'm sure it's not going to be super smooth but just playable.

Specs:

Intel Celeron 2.66GHz,
768MB Ram, 226.0 MB Video Ram,
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (build 2600),
Pixel/Vertex Shader 2.0

My computer is quite old so if I put more RAM in, my PC starts beeping.

Thanks.

Not that I'm an expert or anything, but it looks a bit too weak unfortunately.

You might run it, but unfortunately you will have problems even on low settings.

Give it a go and see how it work for you. Remember to lower resolution to something like 800x600 or 1024x768 and put al settings in video and audio on low.

If you have integrated graphic card I think you even stand less chance with it.

If you can tell your mainboard manufacturer I can tell you which type of RAM and quantity you can use with it. Its not likely that board cant suport at least 1GB of it, in fact I think that it should go up to 2GB. Most likely you have 2 or 3 sticks which have different clock rates and frequencies, and when you try to insert another it reports instability and wont boot.

Use CPUz or HWinfo (free) or AIDA64 (trialware) to find your mainboard make and model.

Welcome to forums.

I appreciate all of the help. Well, the problem is I believe I don't have a manufacturer since the line is completely gray and nothing written.

check your motherboards for RAM slots and what slots do you have for graphics card AGP,PCI?

if you can't find anything then its time for an upgrade

that set up doesn't even have 1GB of ram which is problematic for running windows even
