Description:

I am unable to change my bind for the crouch key from Left Control. It says it rebinds in the menu and applies but it doesn't stay. Returning to the menu, the bind is what I set it to but it stays bound to left control.

I highly doubt this is a PR Bug.

Can you rebind your keys in vBF2 normally?

Have you put the control.con on "read only" for allow the no dispersion tweak for bf2 vannilla ? (it dosn't work for PR)

This has happens to me before. It was the aftermath of a bsod.

The way to fix it is two parts

Create a new account in vBF2. Set all the graphics, controls, and settings that you usually use.

Download "battlefield cleaner". Once you have it installed use it to copy all your.settings from your new account to your old one.

This will work for you anytime you get corrupted user settings from either a bluescreen or anything else. Keep the 2nd account up to date with BF Cleaner and you'll always be good to go.

Yep BF2 cleaner, do good things to me , just clean your cache, go to game, modify controls, applay, and exit game, then restart and play! Do this everytime u get CTD, or out of memory,..

If you make a clone account you wont have to rebind controls in game. It can be done using bfcleaner
