Controls?

I just bought Battlefield 2 and I love it so far (Especially Project Reality). The only issue I am having is the controls. Every time I try to change one it says that it is already being used, but it is used by vehicles and aircraft. Vehicles and aircraft are different from common controls so why wont it let me use the same keys over again in another section? Another issue I am having is not being able to toggle crouch, any suggestions on an easy way to do this? Any replies are greatly appreciated.

I believe you cant toggle crouch you just have to hold the button

Yep you have to hold the button down, but I have heard that there are other ways to do it. Certain programs like an emulator maybe? I don't know how to do this though.
