It might not make sense, but it's become a part of the map, so no - it's not Jabal without the dam.

Without dam, you need a point of interest in the same location, like a major bridge or something. But unrealistic dam should not be added, add a token dam in a map corner if you must, but nothing more.

I think the dam isn't a must, buggy thing really, hard to negotiate, it takes forever to get through that maze. But why stick to the name anyway?

A new dam with make sensible corridors and generators would be nice, give it two flags, east and west. Let the infantry secure it from inside, maybe increase the distance between the mountains and make it look less like the original bf2 scene.

Could be a lot of work, but it makes sense to me if a revamp is thought of.

As Zrix said; the dam has become a part of the map. It wouldn't be right to remove it.

Not removing it anymore, just moving it now.

Here's the turn-west-beach-to-dam idea:

Isn't it too close to west beach? Maybe more up north closer to MEC main and away from sea, and make river flow over west beach pass to sea. You might need to elevate terrain though to make it geographically correct :-P

I like it on west beach, but can we get some more pic please (maybe a new minimap)?

Maybe a Jabal 2 where the USMC And the US Army fight together?(As in kits wise, one Officer USMC, one Army Officer The reast just randomize it)

I see. Moving the dam is an interesting idea, although I didn't get too much information from that picture, Outlawz. Could you, as Spike said, give us some more pictures, or mark the position where you're thinking the new dam should be placed on the mini-map?

That dam is actually a nice static, lots of fun both defending and assaulting. Since it's not used on any other maps I would miss it a lot :(

I'm not giving a full minimap, because that'll just go offtopic with question about the whole map, I'm interested in the dam business more.

Well, here's the new position in relation to the current one.

Thanks, in the original screen shot the lake in the background was throwing me, but I see that it is new :)

I think that is a better place for the dam, can't wait to see what other tweaks you have planned for the map.

Maybe MEC main should be moved more NE in that case? And Jabal bridge non destroyable.

That looks really cool, Outlawz. I wouldn't mind at all if the dam would be moved.
