Serious Question:

What happened to PR:Normandy and why has it vanished? :sad: I played some of the most fun PR games there..

Normandy needs more maps, ones that also feature tanks.. If someone that can already map (!!!) wants to help out, feel free to contact me.

There's nothing like that in the works or planned as far as I'm aware (I don't know about any personal projects on it either).

What map would be a good armor map for Project Normandy?

Operation Epsom (June 26–29) in Marcellet ?
Operation Goodwood (July 18–19) east of Caen?

Or and all armor map like
Falaise Pocket in early August?

What's up with the Tunguska's texture? I don't want to sound ungrateful or offend who did it, but it's really really bad (even more when compared to other PR vehicles and the vanilla Tunguska).

^ its probably because PR had to decrease resolution because of memory crashes. Perhaps in future it can be bumped up, but I doubt it due to the larger number of things that need textures in PR. However Maybe there is a way in future to include the nicer textures on a per map basis, since some maps are better optimized than others, with a smaller spectrum of vehicles (thus less textures) to load.

Na I expect its the same rez, its just not a very good texture with a lot of the original normal maps etc missing :(

Problem with reskinning vBF2 assets is no one really wants to do it and anyone who dose has just the vBF2 .dds textures to work with which isn't a very good thing to work off :p

Was playing AIX today and wondered why don't you guys use the vBF2 feature where when you enter a jet you get the proper jet pilot gear?

Noticed how in AIX the bombs and missiles disappear when you use them but when you rearm they appear on the plane again, in PR they disappear forever?

The well was originally designed to hold 12 men, but it hasn't been extensively tested enough. This should be fixed by the next patch so it represents its real life counterpart better in game.
