Extreme ULTRA Lagging.

Hello!

in the last few days im expirencing realy hard lagging,in all the servers that i ussually playing with,and im not new to PR ive been playing for 3 years now.

its just impossible to play like that,my ping indicator in the game shows abot 200-400

and i just cant move see shoot or aim,its started just 2 days ago and im realy dissapointed because i want to keep playing PR and im afraid i wouldnt be able to,i looked all sorts of ways to lower ping on the internet and not even one was helping.

Post your system specs along with OS version ( 32 or 64bit )

Do you use any background applications while playing? Torrent any P2P? Any overlays?

Do you use wired connection or wifi? Post your router model and make too.

I believe its 32 bit

my ANTI VIROUS protecion is on all the time (AVG FREE) and i have no idea what p2p is so if you can explain

As for the router, you can temporarily disable your router firewall and disable QOS service permanently.

It says to DMZ your PC but I dont recommend that. That will make your PC very vulnerable.

1. Download IObit Gamebooster3. Install, configure, and use before starting PRMumble and PR.
2. Defrag your hard drive.
3. Delete your shader cache in Documents\Battlefield2\

If the above does not work, you might simply need to shutdown and reboot your router.

You can download MIcrosoft Sysinternals Process Explorer, Process Explorer and open it, it gives you a more detailed view of processes running on your PC than the standard TaskManager. Look around to see if program is using all of your CPU cycles, RAM, or Virtual Memory. IF so, you can write a reply here and tell us what process/program is using all your system resources, causing your online lag.

Processor, is ok however memory is not. 500GB is probably your hard disk size.

You can get you system specs easily with this program called HWinfo and you can see all components of your system. If you cant generate report for some reason take screenshots and post them here.

As for router usually your internal IP should be 192.168.1.XXX so your routers IP should be 192.168.1.1.
Open your web browser and type 192.168.1.1 in url line and press enter. If it propmts for password enter your username and password ( user is usually "admin" and password is your custom set password )

If successful you should be logged in into your routers web interface. Then proceed as I said in post above.
