Re: Help new
This is your motherboard's integrated graphics. In order to play even an older game, you will most likely have to get some sort of discreet GPU. Even a lower end card in the 50-70 dollar range would do it.
I've never tried playing BF2 with chipset graphics, so I could be wrong, but that would be my recommendation.

Re: Help new
You need to buy a graphic card if you want to be able to play it smoothly, even at low graphics. Also, what is your CPU?

Not bad for the CPU, but you would need at least a cheap graphic card like a GT 9800 or a GT 8600

Download and install GPU-Z. Run it and post a screenshot of it here. It will give us general idea of your graphics hardware. Just to be sure you have onboard graphics since Dell Optiplex may come in many different versions.

Re: Will PR work smoothly on my compter ?
also ur monitor/screen has a quite big max. resolution... u need a really good PC if u wanna play on that max resolution with high settings (what I reeeeally hardly recommend!).
-> "Monitor Max Res: 1600,1200"
but as u posted u actually are using this somewhat totally strange resolution... wondering...
"Current Mode: 1152 x 864"
So follow "Massive"s hint with GPU-Z above (https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ost1753266).

This is an unsupported video card. The latest drivers for it I believe were published in 2009. You would need to force the game into really low graphical settings to even try and get the game running on this computer.

Re: Will PR work smoothly on my compter ?
Im sorry but you will not be able to play PR with this graphic card. It has only 8MB of VRAM and while it might be using some of the system RAM it will still not be able to run PR. Maybe on really low settings, but that's not smooth, not even close.
Its a i945G chipset...I'm not sure if it had AGP or PCI-e slot for graphic cards...oh well you will need to buy a graphic card to be able to play PR "smoothly".
For your PC it would be 8800GT or similar, make sure card is 320bit or better with 640Mb of RAM or better. This is still great graphic card and can run PR pretty well. And should not be expensive at all.
Also make sure your power supply is at least 400W.

Read my post above?
If you have PCI-e slot for additional graphic card you can get this one pretty cheap.

Check which slot you have before you make purchase!

Ok tell me which power supply you have and how much power it has? 300W? 400?
Then tell me how much can you afford for new graphic card and then well make a calculation.
Also what happened with that Radeon you bought? PC broke? Explain please.

Re: Will PR work smoothly on my compter ?

If Im not wrong this is AGP and not PCI-E slot for graphic card. Picture is a bit dark but by the length of the slot Id say its AGP.
If this is true you're going to have a hard time with this one. AGP cards are more expensive and rare.
Consult your manual to be sure its AGP slot. I hope Im wrong.
