[Solved] Vietnam Setup Requires Project Reality

So while trying to install Vietnam I get this message that Project Reality v0.973 needs to be installed, however I have that version installed and I have checked in game in the bottom left hand corner.

It says I don't.





I have it installed!



What should I do, I don't want to re-download/install PR.

DO not need to download anything but a very small fix file...

First, make sure you know if you have 32 or 64 bit version of windows.

then download the appropriate file here:

To help us out, can you give us the system specs:

also which version of BF2 did you buy? Origin, Steam, retail CD, etc.
And have you downloaded any files from Desura?

I have not downloaded anything from Desura and I own the game on steam.

Also, I ran the regedit file but I still get the same error. The way you describe the file its a fix for it thinking you don't have BF2 1.5 where as my problem is it thinks I don't have PR 0.973.

This is such a stupid error with no real description or reason for me to get it and I just want to play.

Thats different to the one Litoralis provided and should be used in case a DLC installer (mappack or vietnam) misses PR 0.97.
Please tell me if that works for you.
