I agree, but that's a common "problem" though on a lot of servers.

Glad to see that Mestia was voted through tonight, had some good inf fights with a very persistent squad trying to build a FOB north of warehouse. Shame it crashed.

I just saw this... You guys are dicks! I take things serious at times, and not so serious at other times.

Overall recently I've seen pretty much the same maps being voted on. Black Gold especially has been played a lot. Put up a bigger variety of maps for the votes!

I played earlier tonight on Vads?. The Russian side rushed the Island in the beginning, efficiently stopping the British cap immediately. There is no rule against this, as I am aware of, but I do consider it a dickish tactic and gamebreaking behavior. I seriously think you should consider a rule against rushing the enemies first flag.

Actually, such a rule already exists on our server:

4.3 Attacking the "last flag" is allowed only, if AAS Layout says so.
(from: Newcommunity.eu • View topic - SERVER RULES - updated 06.02.2012)

Usually the [NEW] Admins will keep an eye on players actions contrary to rules, but on Vadso, the Island flag is not protected by this rule, since it is not the "last" flag from the point of view of the british team, but the first attackable one.
For comparison:

Harrasing tactics like the one you mentioned are part of the gameplay, and [NEW] has decided to not further intervene considering tactics and gameplay as we already do with our existing rules.

But I'm actually surprised that the russian team seems to have won Vadso easily, since they are in a slight disadvantage considering guided portable AT weapons.

Just joined your server whilst on the 100player test, I normally avoid the 'big' servers as they're such a mess.

When i saw it was NEW i hopped on knowing you guys do a good job but.....

1. 3 locked squads at 3 or 4 with a must join a squad rule but not enough spaces
2. Duplicate squads
3. Loads of guys without any comms including our SL
4. TK's a go go

I did a few !r with no responses then left as for me this isn't PR.

I appreciate you're just testing guys - but you've got a reputation to uphold.

It's a one day testing without any preparation.
I did not even notify the admin team (on purpose).

So please apologize any inconveniences. During your time on the server we simply hadn't had enough admins online, I'm sure it will be way better the next few hours.
Please don't render your judgement after this short period today.

Thing that made me sad were the quite flat responses by the admin staff. I reported some 3 and 4 men locked squads, together with duplicated squads and the response I got was "No rules against that". I mean it's fine that you don't want to pursue rules you don't have in your actual list but that kind of situation requires nothing but common sense.

And I 2nd plodd.

Everything is back to normal, feel free to join us and experience the opposite (hopefully).

Is there a reason for why the server is listed as red in the server-list for me? I'm not able to find it when I update the list, only by entering my favorites. Any recent updates of any kind?

We switched our host lately to a (much) more powerful machine.
I also heard from another guys having issues as well, I will take care of it.

That's just our noob barrier ;-)
Just kidding, always great to have sN1 on the server.
