Nobody is attacking anyone. Please note where we attacked you in anyway? We just saw that it was needed to make a statement about that the server is not longer in PRTA lease, that statement was made in Semtex(keksterror) his post. Other then that temexter is just stating his personal opinion. Same as me, brainlaag and others. PRTA has over 250 active members, and we had over 35 admins who were running the SISU server each weekend. I find it normal that we have a strong opinion, and knowledge of and over this server. We are trying to provide feedback towards running the SISU server as an admin, and to gain knowledge in the testing results while having good gameplay for the pubbies. We are only trying to help.

oh, and yet again as feedback, please answer my question about the 48 hour period.

'[olutta wrote:Kasi;1756750']Temexter :O nce again: read and assimilate this thread again. SISU was not up and no testing was done for several months in Fall and early Winter as there were no donations. Then PRTA leased it has been up since - until last Thursday since it's been leased by =Olut= cult. As a former first level admin i know as well as you, that the current SISU admin team cannot handle 128-200 player server. The whole community saw it in last fall. If i'm wrong, i really would like to see how are you going to enforce teamplay and rules on 128-200 player server.
R U SERIOUS????
Teme's been trolling around everywhere spreading shit abt the server now, I dunno what went wrong with him.

It's so sad to see the server go I hope PRTA will leave the PR community with the 128 code because it's great!
Thanks again for all the good memories!

It's not going anywhere, just shifting the leaser, it will be still up under OLUT management (not sure for how long). Also it's not really PRTA's work, mostly Soppa and Tema deserve the credits for the code.

First of all: please notice the disclaimer in my previous post. I'm not presenting any organisation, just myself and all statements and opinions are personal.

Please calm down Kasi and Angellfall. This is not personal nor any kind of criticism, blame or attack towards =Olut= cult. I have had nice games with you and hope all the best for you in running 64+ server and in general :)

Please read the sentence higlighted in red. I'm NOT talking about ANY instance/community/clan leasing SISU. I'm talking about - as Angellfall mentioned it SISU admin team. I am just stating my concern about maintaining a level of teamplay and order on server so it won't turn into a chaos when it's not leased by organisation with adequate resources and capable enough.. I have seen it happen - like many regulars.

I see, the quality of server - in gamers aspect - will be seen (and already has been seen) in this thread, i hope.
This thread is for FEEDBACK about the server PERFORMANCE and other technical issues. Any gameplay related issues should be taken to website of the community who is at time having controll of the server.
Why are you then talking about =Olut= here. As i am not. Except mentioning SISU is now leased by =Olut=. I am giving feedback for SISU as this threads name states. As it is the "generic" name for box(es) running 64+ server testing. Moreover all recent threads about 128 server are locked.

Like said earlier - lack of: information about what's done, development, testing and plans/schedules. And especially demanding money for running public server for community driven and developed FREE game mod. And still after a year nothing is shown in black and white.

Last time, this is technical feedback forum for Sisu server.
If you keep pushing it, you will get punished.

Continue discussion at olutta.org/forum if you see any point on it.

Official PRTA Statment

The PRTA has funded the SISU server for the last few months. And has payed a monthly fee of 200 euroes to keep soppas hardware running.

As per his agreement we have been able to also admin it and dictate the rules on the server.

We have had no access to the code nor been part of developing it other than funding.

As per now we are not able to pay the fee. He has found someone else to fund it, which is great. I hope to see the 128 code in PR.

PRTA will always support the 128 server.

See you ingame.

Thank you Wicca and PRTA.

PRTA has covered 40% of developing/reverse engineering environment server and net costs for 4 months.
Now =Olut= team has took new server from me which I'm leased from Hetzner DE.
=Olut= has no access to code and code is still developed in server at Finland.

I hope all versions of code will be ready for PR v1.0.

Massive lack of communication on the opposing team, it was basically me and Agemman having a Dialogue.

Just had an awesome round on the server. After a failed first attack by me and the squad that I was leading, we ended up holding and re-taking the triangle at Muttrah throughout almost the entire round, calling CAS on targets like there was no tomorrow. Sniper teams, loads of APC's attacking us, and a whole bunch of regular inf all got Hellfired, and the ones they couldn't deal with got taken care of by us and sq 7(sorry, cant remember who it was), in addition to some very useful APC support from sq 2. In the end we still lost big time, but it was a great game none the less in my mind. Thanks for this great server
