Just did some training with my sniper in a local match.

Be aware that you can't compare this mod to the vanilla BF2. Sniper isn't that super 1337 guy that kills ppl miles away. In fact most of the times PR players dislike snipers. If you are really into the conecpt of PR start with normal rifleman and join a good sq. Tell them that you are new, and USE mumble and/or ingame voice.

I still think that you got a wrong image in mind what PR is about.

PR is worth it, but if you are going to use hacks, don't even bother playing.

Don't talk about pirating BF2 or this thread is going to get locked as fast as you can blink.

Yes it is worth purchasing a new copy of BF2 to be able to play Project Reality.

They don't ban by IP.

As others have stated the only way around this ban is to buy a new key.

Go to youtube and search for Project Reality Teamplay videos.
For most parts, this is how PR is played on the servers.
If you like teamwork and communication oriented games, go ahead and buy another key.
It's definitely worth it.

As far as I remember: I bought BF2 and upgraded to a better PC just to play PR(bf2 and sometimes ARMA2).

Yea, I'm playing games I find more enjoyable atm, might hop in back for 128 shizz some time though.

It's a fun and very enjoyable game at its best but some things in it are utter shit. It's hard to really describe it
