i mean i know there are times when they need extra time but damm, when they had the end of March release date i heard a quote from an EA rep saying "the release date is pretty much set in stone and will only be changed due to natural disaster"(something to that effect) then they push it back a few months
i mean most people if they missed a deadline at work would probably be fired

there are alot of games that get pushed back a long ways. at least BF2, when announced, said spring/summer 05, theyre on schedule so fare... baring natural disaster
, at least its not years in delay, halo2 and gran turismo 4 both took very long times to reach shelves. as long as bf2 lives up to expectations ill be happy, ive said it before, im not too excited for the demo.

I used to work for EA game tester in Chertsey
and as far as i remember things could come up that could change the release of demos it was something else with the main release where it had to be a major crash bug or something as the cd had already been printed and it would cost a vast sum of money to re print all those cds. My guess is that they want to make sure that the demo will work before release. all this hype just adds to peoples expectation and creates a lot of talk about the game which is good in the long run. Most people are frustrated but that is bacause they want it NOW!
It will come and it will be as good as we all know it will be. but damm the waiting is hard...
